Booking terms

These terms apply to direct bookings made on this site with Wonderstay (the host). Bookings made through other platforms follow that platform's terms.

Booking and payment

• Your booking is confirmed when payment is received. The total shown at checkout includes accommodation, cleaning fee, any extra-guest fee and the Lisbon municipal tourist tax (per adult per night, capped per stay; children under 13 exempt).
• Prices are in euros. If you pay in another currency, Stripe converts at its rate.
• We issue an invoice or invoice-receipt for every stay. Tell us your tax ID before check-out if you need it on the document.

Cancellation policies

Each property shows its policy before you pay. Cleaning fee and tourist tax are always refunded if you cancel before check-in. Refunds go to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

• Flexible. Cancel up to 24 hours before check-in for a full refund. After that, the accommodation cost is not refunded; cleaning fee and tourist tax are always refunded if you cancel before check-in.
• Moderate. Cancel up to 5 days before check-in for a full refund. Cancel later, up to check-in time, and 50% of the accommodation cost is refunded. Cleaning fee and tourist tax are always refunded if you cancel before check-in. No refund after check-in.
• Strict. Full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. Otherwise 50% of the accommodation cost is refunded up to 7 days before check-in, and nothing after that. Cleaning fee and tourist tax are always refunded if you cancel before check-in.

If the host must cancel (force majeure, property unavailable), you receive a full refund.

Damage deposit

Where shown, a refundable deposit is authorised on your card two days before check-in and released two days after check-out. It is only charged, in whole or part, for damage beyond normal wear, missing items, or extra cleaning, with an itemised explanation.

Your stay

• Check-in and check-out times are on the property page. Only registered guests may stay overnight; the maximum occupancy is binding.
• Portuguese law requires every guest to be identified. You agree to provide the details requested before arrival.
• No parties, no smoking indoors, and quiet hours 22:00–08:00 unless the property's house rules say otherwise. Serious breaches may end the stay without refund.

Liability and law

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking, except where the law provides otherwise. Portuguese law applies. Consumers in the EU may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform; a Livro de Reclamações is available online.
